In short (plain language)

  • DamruVani's current speech model, Model 1 (beta), is built on open research by other people. We did not create it, and its authors do not endorse DamruVani.
  • Its model weights are licensed for non-commercial use only (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial). That is why the beta is free and its audio is for non-commercial use (Terms §4).
  • One part of Model 1 — the audio tokenizer — is built with Higgs Materials from Boson AI and Meta Llama 3, under their community licences. The required notice and both licence texts are below.
  • Our paid plans will use our own Model 2, not these weights.

1. Model 1 (beta) — OmniVoice

Model 1 uses the pre-trained OmniVoice model and its open-source code, without changes to the model weights; we added our own inference, audio-processing and safety code around it.

2. Audio tokenizer — Boson Higgs Audio 2 and Meta Llama 3

Model 1 uses an audio tokenizer released under the Boson Higgs Audio 2 Community License Agreement, which is based on the Meta Llama 3 Community License Agreement. As those licences require, we display the following notice:

4. Open-source software

DamruVani is built with open-source software, including Next.js, React, Fastify, Prisma, BullMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Caddy, PyTorch and FFmpeg. Each component keeps its own licence.
